Portrait of the Week tiny toes

There is nothing in this world quite so precious and miraculous as a new baby. A new baby is the beginning of a family. Birth is the beginning of the magical journey of life. I am honored to be able to meet so many new families and their precious new babies. It is a delight for me to be able to create beautiful images for them to cherish and capture this fleeting time of life that is so special and new. Especially to witness and record the love and pride of the new parents as they gaze upon their new infant.

Portrait of the Week Wedding

This week's portrait of the week is a very sweet couple who will soon be celebrating their first anniversary. Their beautiful wedding was held at West Park Winery in West Park, NY. A gorgeous place to select for their special day! Their love was so evident that day! The way they looked at each other, the touch of their hands as they walked down the path, they were "naturals"  in front of the camera and shared many special moments that day. The flowers were beautifully done by Sara at Floral Fantasies in Rhinebeck. Many things came together  that day to capture the beauty of this couple, especially their feelings for each other.

Fun with aTwo year old

This little sweetheart is back for her two year old session.  I first met her as an infant when her Mom brought her in for a baby session. She enjoyed running around the studio and playing peek a boo. Although she preferred to be running around with just her diaper, we managed to get a few with her beautiful dress on.

Portrait of the Week High School Senior

The Portrait of the Week this week is a high school senior. I enjoyed the portrait session with this senior. She is very poised and self confident and does so many interesting things from cooking to horse back riding competitions not to mention soccer and excelling in school. Her true spirit came through in her portraits. The future is in good hands!

Portrait of the Week Engagement

I was so happy and honored when Jessica selected me as her wedding photographer. She is an amazing young lady, who is an excellent rep. for ADP. She met her fiancee, James at ADP. This is an office romance with a very HAPPY ending. This great couple were so photogenic and natural in front of the camera as we spent time walking around a beautiful park together. Congratulations to Jessica and James!

Eye Kandy Models

My daughter. Lindsey and some of her friends were Eye Kandy Models the other day. The product is great! It has no metals or plastics and is completely natural and easily removable. The photo shoot was fun! Sammy the make-up artist did an amazing job! Here are a few shots....more to follow

Respecting the environment has been important to me for my entire life. As much as possible, I follow green practices in my studio as well. Always recycling and conserving, I also offer green products to my clients.  In 2009, I added a new line of wedding and portrait albums that made with organic materials in the USA. I also offer invitations and greeting cards, note cards and birth announcements printed on recycled papers.

Portrait of the Week

This adorable little girl is very sweet, cheerful and has a smile that melts your heart. I met her as a baby when I had the honor of creating a christening album for her. Her parents knew me from photographing their wonderful wedding. Popular vote has selected her as my Portrait of the Week!
