Hudson Valley Photographer

This winter has been an awesome time to be a photographer in the Hudson Valley. The weather has been so mild that many sessions are comfortably done outside giving me a mulititude of awesome backgrounds. From fabulous farm fields to around the town of Rhinebeck where my studio is located. Usually this time of the winter, I am so ready for spring. This winter has seemed more like spring everyday. Only an occasional dusting of snow has arrived after our early snowstorm last October. Looking forward to my upcoming sessions the next few days with this wonderfully warm February weather!

ULSTER SAVINGS BANK TO HOST MAUREEN GATES
PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT AT RED HOOK BRANCH

(Red Hook, NY)   Ulster Savings Bank would like to invite the public to an opening reception at their 7296 South Broadway, Red Hook branch on Friday, September 16^th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm for their latest art exhibit, a photography collection by Maureen Gates.  The exhibit will be on display at the branch through Saturday, October 29^th.

Ms. Gates, a professional photographer since 1984 and owner of Sharp Images Photographic photo studio, has used her unique artistic viewpoint to create images that are now featured in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the Hudson Valley.  Her work has also been featured in commercial advertising, with her client list including HGTV, IBM, the Smithsonian, National Park Service, Bloomberg Press, Adams, Culinary Institute of America and many more.
